It is equal parts cheeky dark comedy and bizarre environmental horror. However, a large organization is after Okja because her delectable body is desirable. The English-speaking actors Tilda Swinton and Jake Gyllenhaal are among the film’s supporting ensembles. Okja is a story of sweetness and brutal truth!
The Meyerowitz Stories (2017)
The Meyerowitz Stories is a sombre comedy-drama that is seen through Noah Baumbach’s realistic perspective. The story of two dysfunctional adult siblings who are attempting to live in their father’s shadow. Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller play them. These bright, albeit unpleasant, characters are portrayed by a lively cast, which includes Dustin Hoffman.
Nightcrawler (2014)
Louis Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal), a local of Los Angeles, makes a living by stealing small items and scavenging. Armed with a camcorder and a police scanner, he stumbles into a new vocation as a cameraman and starts making nighttime forays across the city in pursuit of spectacular and gruesome crimes. This horror drama is based on the novella 1922, by Stephen King. It is a slow-burner with a captivating performance at its heart. The ever-proud Wilfred James, a farmer who decides to murder his wife with the assistance of their teenage son, provides one of the best performances in his career. The end will be horrific and if you don’t like rats now, you really won’t like them thereafter.
Taxi Driver (1976)
Travis Bickle (Robert De Niro), a troubled recluse who suffers from insomnia, accepts a job as a cab driver in New York City. Travis Bickle spends his nights prowling the streets, becoming more and more alienated from reality while dreaming of purging the squalor from the city. After falling in love with attractive campaign worker Betsy (Cybill Shepherd), Travis develops an obsession with the idea of saving the world.
